Dr. Avila holds a PhD in Plant Pathology by the Colegio de Postgraduados in the State of Mexico. Master's degree in Fruit science and Agricultural Science Bachelor at the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua where she is currently Professor-researcher.

Research

Her research areas involve plant pathology and food safety.
